Rafael Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rafael currently holds the position of Geneva Desktop Support Team Lead at Trafigura, starting in May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an IT Support Engineer at the same company from April 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Trafigura, Rafael worked at Médecins Sans Frontières (Switzerland), starting in May 2016. Rafael Ruiz attended Ecole d'horlogerie et d'électricité from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a CFC Informaticien degree. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Bloomberg Technical Training Certification from Bloomberg in 2023, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner in 2017, Certification 40-410 Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in 2016, Exam 70-687 Configuring Windows 8.1 from Microsoft in February 2016, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2016, MCSE 2003 from Microsoft in 2008, and MCP Managing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 from Microsoft in 2008.
