Saad Rahim

Saad Rahim is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in energy and financial markets. Currently serving as Chief Economist at Trafigura since May 2015 and Co-Portfolio Manager at Galena Asset Management since January 2020, Saad has also held significant roles including Chief Market Economist at BG Group and Deputy Chief Economist at Chevron, where responsibilities included providing senior economic and strategic advice to executive management. Prior experience includes managing geopolitical and risk consulting at PFC Energy and product management at Looksmart, Ltd. Saad holds a Master's degree in International Economics, Global Theory & History, Energy from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University.
