Ernie Gates

Ernie Gates has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles, currently serving as a Point Man at Trail Life USA since October 2013. Prior to this, Ernie held various positions including Technician at Double Gates Computer Consulting and NRA Training since April 2001, and Computer Labs Manager at Samford University from November 2001 to February 2018. Ernie's earlier roles include Assistant Scoutmaster at BSA Troop 828, Service Manager at Information Services, LLC, Installer at Daniel Communications Inc., and Service Manager at Byte Size, Inc. Ernie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, complemented by a foundational education at Calallen High School.
