Stephen Ashton has a diverse and impressive work experience. Stephen began their career as a Counselor/Teacher at Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, where they worked closely with at-risk youth. Stephen later became the School Principal, implementing an experiential education program that significantly improved the educational achievement of the boys in the program.

Stephen then transitioned to the role of Youth Minister at Elon Baptist Church before returning to Baptist Children's Homes as the Education Director. In this role, they helped launch Camp Duncan for Girls and achieved remarkable results in programming and academic growth. Stephen was later promoted to Executive Director of Cameron Boys Camp School, leading a team of professionals and establishing the program as one of the nation's premier transformational programs for at-risk youth.

Stephen's passion for education and leadership continued at Clarks Summit University, where they served as an Adjunct Professor. Stephen developed an Accredited Experiential Masters Degree program for their staff and expanded course offerings to additional therapeutic programs.

Most recently, Stephen held positions at Trail Life USA, a national non-profit youth organization. Stephen served as the National Manager of Marketing and Communication, implementing marketing automation strategies and creating marketing dashboards to analyze campaigns. Stephen then became the National Director of Marketing, overseeing all aspects of marketing and communication, managing a PR firm, and providing creative direction for various contractors.

Throughout their career, Stephen has showcased strong leadership skills, a focus on excellence, and a dedication to transforming the lives of at-risk youth.

Stephen Ashton's education history includes a Master of Religious Education degree from Liberty University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing from Ohio University, acquired from 1998 to 2001. In addition, they completed a Master of Arts in Religion degree at Liberty University from 2004 to 2006.

Stephen Ashton has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include being certified in HubSpot Marketing Software by HubSpot in November 2019, becoming a Safe Crisis Management Instructor through JKM Training Inc in August 2015, obtaining CPR and First Aid certification from the American Red Cross in February 2014, becoming a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Instructor through Cornell University in June 2013, becoming a Children and Residential Experiences Instructor through Cornell University in January 2012, and obtaining a Sales Certificate from the Ohio University Schey Sales Center in June 2001.
