Fredrik Dahlgren

Fredrik Dahlgren is a highly experienced security professional currently serving as a Principal Security Engineer at Trail of Bits since November 2020, with prior roles including Staff Security Engineer, Senior Security Engineer, and Cryptography Analyst. Previously, Fredrik worked for the Swedish Government from 2008 to November 2020 as a Senior Security Researcher and Cryptologist. Academic experience includes serving as a Researcher/Teacher and Ph.D. student in Mathematics at Uppsala University from 2002 to 2007, focusing on validated computational methods for higher analysis using domain theory, and working as a Teaching Assistant in mathematics from 2000 to 2002. Fredrik holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logic and an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Uppsala University, with additional educational experiences at the University of Gothenburg and The University of Edinburgh.
