Joshua Goldman-Brown

Joshua Goldman-Brown is a Director in Trailrunner’s New York office. He brings nearly two decades of financial and corporate communications experience, having advised businesses in the US and across Asia on a broad range of high stakes issues.

Joshua was previously an Associate Partner at Newgate Communications in Hong Kong and a Partner at Gavin Anderson & Co. in Hong Kong and New York.

He has extensive experience in contested corporate situations, crises, domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, restructurings, IPOs, and activist defense situations.

Joshua has advised clients on their corporate communications strategies, including work for leading firms in the private equity, asset management, high tech, and professional services sectors. His experience includes providing counsel and execution at the firm, business unit, and senior executive levels. He has devised programs to build brand positioning; establish and reinforce thought leadership; and position firms as go-to media resources in target sectors. He has also led crisis communications for regulatory, personnel, and intellectual property issues in the finance, chemical, and CPG industries.
