Lorinda Lahiff

Chief Information Officer at TrailRunner International

Lorinda Lahiff serves as Chief Information Officer of TrailRunner International. She brings more than 30 years of information technology experience to TrailRunner, having worked previously with government agencies and public and privately held companies. Lorinda is responsible for all IT infrastructure at TrailRunner including IT and cybersecurity governance, policies, and procedures.

Prior to TrailRunner, Lorinda worked at Lawrence Livermore National Lab, where she led a team of more than 50 IT and cybersecurity professionals that supported the complex computing needs of the lab’s Global Security organization. In this role, she collaborated closely with other national laboratories and government agencies in Washington, DC to design and implement IT and cybersecurity best practices.

Previously, Lorinda served as the Director of IT at Pacific Biosciences of California, a leading genetic sequencing hardware company, and throughout her career has held IT positions with various companies and agencies in Silicon Valley and the Pacific Northwest including Affymetrix, ParAllele, Qiagen, Operon, Bechtel, ESCO and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Lorinda graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley where she studied computer science and electrical engineering. She enjoys time with her husband and daughter, traveling, and spending time outdoors with activities such as hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding and running, primarily after their Australian Shepard.
