Ellie Keen

Ellie Keen is an experienced Frontend Developer currently employed at Trainline since September 2018, contributing to Europe’s leading train and coach app by optimizing ticket purchasing for users across 45 countries. Previously, Ellie completed a Software Engineering program at Makers in 2018, where coding practices such as Test Driven Development were emphasized, and worked on numerous projects showcased on GitHub. Earlier roles include serving as the Technology Club Manager at MakerClub, where coding and making initiatives were promoted within the Bournemouth community, and as a Freelance Digital Skills Trainer at Freeformers, focusing on digital transformation and skill development for various organizations. Ellie also holds a short course in Web Design from Arts University Bournemouth and attended Peter Symonds College from 2011 to 2013.
