Founded in 1953 by Robert Trainor, Sr. as a single shop in Illinois, it is now one of the largest glazing companies in the United States, as recently recognized by Glass Magazine and US Glass Magazine. The company has 600+ team workers and 17 nationwide locations that range from large, highly efficient manufacturing sites to strategically located satellite offices. Annual sales for 2010 exceeded $175 million.

Trainor was recently the proud recipient of 3 Crystal Achievement Awards, presented by the National Glass Association. Awards included: Most Innovative Curtain Wall Project, Most Innovative New Website, Large Company, & Best Showroom.
