Mark Lesser has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Mark began their career as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc./Banana Republic from 2012 to 2014. Mark then worked at Drake University as the Interim Coordinator of Creative Services, where they created video and graphic design content for print and web materials. Additionally, they served as the co-producer, co-technical director, and production manager for the prestigious Drake Relays track and field event. Mark also worked at Louisiana State University as a Social Media/Videographer/Photographer, producing video, photo, and graphic design content for various university departments. Mark later joined Sur La Table as a Floor Lead and Assistant Store Manager, where they managed store operations and supervised visual and sales floor updates. In 2020, Mark worked as a Guest Services Manager at JLL, overseeing all functions of guest services until they were laid off due to COVID-19. Mark furthered their career at Reverb as a Customer Experience Specialist, providing support to buyers, sellers, and users of the site. Currently, Mark works at Trala, Inc. as an Operations Associate. In addition to their professional experience, Mark has been self-employed as a Private Music Lesson Instructor since 2017, teaching students of all ages and specializing in saxophone and wind and percussion instrument preparation for college auditions. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in customer service, management, creative content production, and music education.
Mark Lesser completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2010, they began their studies at Drake University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Music, which they successfully completed in 2015. During this time, they also enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts (BA) program at Drake University, majoring in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, which they completed in 2014. In 2014, they furthered their education by obtaining a Certificate in Saxophone from the Université Européenne de Saxophone. Lastly, from 2016 to 2018, Mark pursued a Master of Music (M.M.) degree in Saxophone at Louisiana State University.
