Rajat Gupta

Rajat Gupta has extensive work experience in various roles related to engineering and system development. Rajat is currently working as a Lead MBSE Engineer at Trane Technologies. Prior to this, they worked at Locomation, Inc. as a Senior Staff System Engineer and Staff System Engineer. Rajat also has experience as a North America Industry Process Consultant at Dassault Systèmes. Rajat has worked at Cummins Inc. as a Systems Engineering Analyst and Systems Lifecycle Analyst. Additionally, they have research experience at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they worked as a Research Associate and Research Assistant, focusing on Model Based System Engineering and Product Life cycle Management integration. Rajat has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in various system engineering and CAD/CAM courses. Earlier in their career, Rajat worked as a Supply Chain Intern at Bhoruka Roadlines LTD and as an Intern at VISAKHAPATNAM STEEL PLANT and NTPC, where they gained on-site experience and worked on projects related to power generation and maintenance. Rajat Gupta completed their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Raipur between 2010 and 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications such as "Designing Product Families: from Strategy to Implementation" from MIT Professional Education in September 2021 and "Applying MBSE with SysML using CSM" from No Magic, Inc. in April 2016. Currently, they are pursuing training for certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ - World Headquarters.
