Tara started their career in 2004 as a Payroll and Benefits Manager at Professional Marketing International, where they were responsible for managing payroll and benefits for the company. In 2014, they joined Paradigm Direct as a Human Resources Generalist, where they handled various HR functions. In 2015, Tara moved to Tranont as a Vice President of Culture and Community, overseeing all aspects of the HR department and managing the company foundation. In 2016, they transitioned to Platinum Payment Systems as an HR Manager, where they worked until January 2020. Tara McArthur Higbee has a diverse education history that includes both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree. Tara completed their Bachelor of Science in Travel and Tourism from Brigham Young University, where they attended from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from National University, studying there from 2021 to 2022.
In addition to their degrees, Tara has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills and knowledge. Tara acquired the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM Certification in January 2022. In April 2021, they completed the "Speaking Up At Work" certification from LinkedIn. Furthermore, Tara received certifications for "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (2017)" and "Preventing Harassment in the Workplace," both from LinkedIn, in February 2021.
