Joel Jackson has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Joel is currently working as the Chief Inspector at Trans Mountain, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they were self-employed as a Pipeline & Facilities Consultant starting from September 2003.

Joel has also worked at Plains Midstream Canada as a Construction Supervisor from October 2019 to February 2021. Joel was a Facilities and Pipeline Inspector at Husky Energy from February 2017 to October 2019.

Before that, they worked at TransCanada as a Structural, Civil, and Mechanical Inspector from April 2016 to December 2016.

Joel also held the position of Facilities and Pipeline Superintendent Southern Alberta at Husky Energy from October 2013 to April 2016.

Earlier in their career, Joel worked at TAQA as a Pipeline & Facilities Consultant from May 2010 to September 2013, and at ConocoPhillips as a Pipeline & Facilities Consultant from September 2003 to May 2010.

Joel Jackson attended Spruce View School from 1979 to 1992. Joel then went on to NAIT Westerra from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a degree in Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter/Gasfitter.
