Juan Gil, P.Eng., currently holds the position of Manager, Optimization & Strategy - Shipper Services at Trans Mountain since April 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing technical and commercial operations related to pipeline scheduling and third-party connections. Prior experience spans over 13 years at TC Energy, where roles included Mechanical & Civil Engineering Manager, directing a team responsible for integrity and reliability of liquid facilities, as well as management positions focused on leak detection systems, SCADA, decision support systems, and business systems. Earlier in career, Juan held various supervisory roles at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela, coordinating gas operations and water treatment facilities. Juan's educational background includes a degree in Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a specialization in Project Management from UCAB.
