Michelle Den Ouden

Michelle den Ouden, PMP has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michelle has worked as an ERP HR Functional Lead at TransAlta since 2024. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Human Resources Program Manager at Certae Consulting starting from 2017. Michelle also contributed to Mount Royal University Continuing Education as a member of the Project Management Program Advisory Board from 2018 onwards. Moreover, they worked as an HR Technology Program Manager at Kingston Midstream between 2022 and 2023.

In their earlier career, Michelle held positions such as Project Manager at TC Energy from 2020 to 2021, Director of HR Operations at Sundial Cannabis from 2019 to 2020, and HRMS Project Manager at Keyera from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Engagement Manager at IBM Canada in 2016 and at Meteorix in 2016 as well. Apart from their professional roles, Michelle gained experience as a Project Management Instructor at Mount Royal University Continuing Education from 2015 to 2018.

Michelle den Ouden, PMP has a BA in Arts with a Bilingual Mention from the University of Regina, obtained in 1994. In 2005, they completed a Project Management course at Mount Royal University. Michelle also holds a Practitioner of Change™ certification from Converge Consulting Group Inc., obtained in 2008. Michelle has furthered their education with a Change Management Certification from Prosci in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained the PMP certification from PMI in 2013. Michelle has also completed the Adult Education Seminar Series Certificate of Completion from Mount Royal University in 2018. Michelle has recently enrolled in the Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development program at The Wharton School, obtaining the certification in 2023.
