Michelle den Ouden, PMP has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michelle has worked as an ERP HR Functional Lead at TransAlta since 2024. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Human Resources Program Manager at Certae Consulting starting from 2017. Michelle also contributed to Mount Royal University Continuing Education as a member of the Project Management Program Advisory Board from 2018 onwards. Moreover, they worked as an HR Technology Program Manager at Kingston Midstream between 2022 and 2023.

Michelle has furthered their education with a Change Management Certification from Prosci in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained the PMP certification from PMI in 2013. Michelle has also completed the Adult Education Seminar Series Certificate of Completion from Mount Royal University in 2018. Michelle has recently enrolled in the Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development program at The Wharton School, obtaining the certification in 2023.
