Guanyu Zhou

Guanyu Zhou currently serves as an ALM modeling manager at Transamerica since June 2025, following a role as an actuarial analyst at Milliman from June 2021 to July 2025. Prior to that, Guanyu held the position of analytical reporting analyst and risk analyst at Transamerica from September 2018 to June 2021, focusing on ALM derivatives, hedging, cash, and liquidity risk management. Academic contributions include serving as a graduate research assistant at DePaul University, providing statistical assistance and instruction for Exam FM. Guanyu also acted as an academic officer for the DePaul University Actuarial Science Club and completed an actuarial internship at Sunshine Insurance Group, where involvement included assessing solvency and conducting research on usage-based insurance. Guanyu holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Salisbury University.
