Peter Hunter Hanson

Peter Hunter Hanson is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry with extensive experience in sales and advisory roles. Currently serving as Director of Advice Center Sales at Transamerica since July 2018, Peter oversees strategic planning and execution for an IRA and managed business portfolio with over 100,000 clients and $10 billion in assets. Previous positions include roles as Senior Manager of Relationship Management and Product Specialist Teams, Financial Advisor and COO at Waddell & Reed, and various management positions at Ameriprise Financial Services, Morgan Stanley, and Thrivent. Peter holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
