Eddie Spain's work experience includes the following:

- Clinical Director at Transcarent since January 2021. Eddie is involved in creating a new healthcare experience that is affordable, understandable, and loved by people.

- Strategic Leadership Consultant starting from February 2019 until January 2021, working as a self-employed professional. Eddie helps organizations set goals, develop working relationships, establish organizational culture, and enhance human capital.

- Director, Neuroscience Services (Administrative) at The Queen's Medical Center from September 2016 to November 2019. Eddie oversaw the neuroscience service line, managed a large staff and budget, and provided mentoring and leadership guidance.

- Adjunct Faculty at Evangel University from 2008 to June 2019, teaching science, philosophy, and business courses to undergraduate and graduate students.

- Medical Travel Clinical Design and Operations Consultant at North American Specialty Hospital (NASH) from February 2016 to May 2016. Eddie assisted in developing a startup company, conducted GAP analyses, and created protocols and job descriptions.

Eddie Spain has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Missouri State University, which they obtained from 1982 to 1984. Eddie also has a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from Southwest Baptist University, which they completed from 1992 to 1993. Eddie further pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Healthcare Administration from Southwest Baptist University, which they completed from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, Eddie has multiple certifications throughout their career, including being a Registered Nurse obtained from St. John's School of Nursing in 1982, and certifications as a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) obtained from the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing in 2005, and as a Registered Nurse obtained from the Hawaii State Board of Nursing in 2016.
