Jordie Valdes

Jordie Valdes has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Currently, Valdes is the VP of Commercial and Client Marketing at Transcarent, a position held since August 2023.

Prior to this role, Valdes worked at Pear Therapeutics, where they held two positions. From January 2020 to April 2023, Valdes served as the Senior Director of Marketing, leading the go-to-market strategy for Pear's Prescription Digital Therapeutics in the addiction market. They also worked as the Director of Marketing from March 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining Pear Therapeutics, Valdes held various marketing roles at Amwell. Their positions included Vice President of Marketing from January 2017 to March 2019, Senior Director of Marketing from May 2016 to December 2016, Director of Marketing from October 2013 to April 2016, and Senior Manager of Marketing from January 2011 to September 2013. At Amwell, Valdes focused on telehealth marketing and enrollment programs for health plan, employer, and hospital system clients.

Earlier in their career, Valdes worked at BBK Worldwide as a Senior Campaign Manager from 2004 to 2006, at Arthur D. Little as a Nutrition Scientist from 2001 to 2004, at Welch's as a Health & Nutrition Communications Manager from 2000 to 2001, and at WIC-Women Infants & Children Nutrition Program as a Bilingual Nutritionist from 1998 to 2000.

Overall, Valdes has extensive experience in marketing and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout their career, working in industries such as healthcare, telehealth, and nutrition.

Jordie Valdes holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University, specifically from the Friedman School of Nutrition & Science Policy. Additionally, Valdes obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Vermont.
