Cassandra Wilson, MJ

Cassandra Wilson, MJ has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Marketing and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer at M&I Bank, where they were responsible for advertising, event planning, and community engagement. From 2004 to 2005, they served as a Health Marketing Manager at the Arizona Department of Health Services, developing social marketing campaigns for underprivileged populations and overseeing bid evaluations.

In 2007, Cassandra joined the University of Maryland Communications and Marketing department as a Writer, contributing to university publications and designing an interactive web-based newsletter. Cassandra then worked at the Capital News Service as a Reporter in 2008, covering various topics including politics, the presidential campaign, and general news.

Cassandra gained experience in medical education as a Grant Specialist and Grant Writer at Vindico Medical Education from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they collaborated with academic partners and vendors to develop proposals and budgets for continuing medical education programs.

Cassandra continued their career in medical communications and program management, joining RMEI Medical Education in 2018 as a Program Coordinator and later transitioning to the role of Associate Program Manager at HealthCare Alliance Group, LLC in 2019. In these positions, Cassandra worked on coordinating and managing programs related to healthcare and medical education.

Most recently, they have been employed at Transcend Medical Communications since 2021, starting as a Program Manager and later moving up to the position of Senior Project Manager.

Cassandra Wilson, MJ, has a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland. Cassandra also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus.
