Guillaume Carmona

Guillaume Carmona is a seasoned professional in the field of translational biology and preclinical development, currently serving as the Director of Translational Biology at Transcera since August 2024. Prior to this role, Guillaume held various leadership positions at Avenge Bio from September 2020 to March 2024, including Senior Director and Director of Preclinical Development. At Sigilon Therapeutics, Guillaume advanced from Scientist to Associate Director and Therapeutic Lead between November 2016 and August 2020. Earlier experience includes postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on cancer biology and integrin trafficking, and a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular cardiology. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Master’s degree in Cell Biology from Université Joseph Fourier.
