Josh Lucas Cscp

Josh Lucas, CSCP has extensive experience in operations, logistics, and supply chain management. Josh is currently the Vice President of Parts Operations at TransChicago Truck Group since June 2023, where they previously held the role of Parts Manager from March 2022 to June 2023.

Before that, Josh worked at Specialty Freight Services, Inc. as part of the operations team from August 2021 to March 2022. Josh was responsible for coordinating daily rate requests and shipments, managing key revenue-generating clients, and implementing communication improvements.

From June 2020 to July 2021, Josh served as a Branch Manager at Herc Rentals, where they focused on increasing employee engagement, improving operational performance, and finding operational savings during the COVID pandemic.

Prior to that, Josh worked as a Parts Manager at Equipment Depot from November 2018 to June 2020. Josh successfully implemented a new replenishment process that improved repair rates for field technicians and reduced inventory.

Josh also gained experience as a Manager of Service Parts at Autocar Trucks from May 2015 to August 2017. Josh focused on improving operations, customer satisfaction, and sales.

Before that, from September 2010 to May 2015, Josh held two roles at Mitsubishi Engine North America. Josh started their career at LMT USA, Inc., where they held various roles from May 2006 to September 2010. As the Director of Operations, they provided operational direction and implemented process improvements. As the Inventory and Logistics Manager, they managed inventory, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Prior to that, from September 2005 to May 2006, Josh worked as the Shipping/Receiving Manager at PapaNicholas Coffee Co., where they managed the shipment and receipt of raw and finished goods.

Josh Lucas, CSCP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Operations Management from DeVry University. Josh obtained this degree between 2005 and 2011. In addition, Lucas has earned the certifications of PMP from the Project Management Institute in September 2017, and CSCP from APICS in November 2014.
