Birge Berns, MD, MRCP, FFPM, has an extensive education history. Birge obtained their Physikum degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Universität des Saarlandes. Birge pursued their medical degree, Doctor of Medicine - MD, in Forensic Immunology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, completing it in 1986. Alongside their medical degree, they also earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - MBBS equivalent. In 1992, Birge Berns obtained their MRCP degree in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians, UK. Continuing their education, they completed a Master of Science - MSc degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the University of Surrey from 1994 to 2000. Birge further specialized in Oncology, earning another MSc degree from the University of London between 2009 and 2014.
