Chris Burgess

Chris Burgess is an accomplished railroad professional with extensive experience in operations and management, currently serving as General Manager at Transdev since April 2022, specializing in contract compliance and flagging. Previous roles include Rail Administration Manager at the Florida Department of Transportation and Terminal Manager at Norfolk Southern Corporation. Burgess has held leadership positions with Railserve, Inc., and Rail America, where responsibilities included corporate safety and terminal operations. Early in the career, roles at Genesee & Wyoming Inc. and Amtrak provided foundational experience in terminal management and yard operations. Chris Burgess is a graduate of Ball State University.
