Olivier Sichel

Olivier Sichel is the current Director at Transdev. Olivier has over ten years of experience in the transportation industry. Prior to their current position, Olivier served as the Performance & Transformation Manager for the Urban Transports Business Unit at SYSTRA from September 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the business risks and opportunities associated with the Grand Paris Express programme, as well as leading the BU strategic and commercial planning initiatives. Additionally, Olivier defined and executed the BU transformation plan, which included process and organizational improvements, as well as the implementation of a visual management system.

Before joining SYSTRA, Olivier served as the Performance Leader & Internal Consultant at AREVA from September 2013 to August 2015. In this role, they provided support to major projects in the transitional phase between design and tendering. Prior to this, Olivier was the Technical Project Manager at AREVA NP from July 2009 to August 2013. In this role, they managed R&D projects and led a team of engineers.

Olivier began their career in 2008 as an R&D Engineer intern at Eurocopter. Olivier then spent a year studying at the University of Glasgow as a visiting student.

Olivier Sichel completed a BSc. and MSc. in Generalist Engineering at École Polytechnique before earning a Master's Degree in Aeronautics & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart. Olivier then attended Lycée Hoche for classes préparatoires in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering.
