Matt Sweetwood

Matt Sweetwood is a seasoned filmmaker with extensive experience in writing, editing, and directing, currently holding positions at transfermedia production services GmbH and Sweetwood Films UG since 2015 and 2014, respectively. Sweetwood has a long-standing role at Hoferichter & Jacobs GmbH since 2004 and has contributed to various documentary films, particularly notable works such as "The Beer Jesus from America" and "Beerland." Sweetwood's expertise also spans film editing and co-writing, exemplified by contributions to "The Strait Guys" and "Love of Books," the latter winning the Grierson Best Historical Documentary Award. Matt Sweetwood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
