Charles Hodges Jr. has extensive work experience that spans various industries and sectors. Charles began their career as a Military Fellow at Edelman in 1999, followed by working as a Media Relations Team Chief in the US Army. Charles then served as the Chief of Staff and Battalion XO for Task Force Tomahawk in the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry. In 2004, they became the Senior Director of Operations and Brigade Operations Officer for the US Army's first Stryker Brigade Combat Team.

Hodges later became the Chair of the Military Science Department at Duke University and was responsible for recruitment, training, development, and commissioning of the US Army. Charles then served in various leadership roles in the US Army, including as Vice President of Training Management and Resources and Battalion Commander in Iraq.

After leaving the military, Hodges joined the US Chamber of Commerce as the Senior Director for Events and Programs for Hiring Our Heroes. Charles then became the Executive Director of Hiring Our Heroes at Hiring Our Heroes. Currently, they hold the position of President, Education and Training Division at TransForce, where they work with the President and Finance and Accounting Team to uphold P&L responsibility for the business unit.

Throughout their career, Hodges has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills. Their experience in the military, education, and the private sector makes him a versatile and experienced professional.

Charles Hodges Jr. holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, which they obtained from 1985 to 1988. Charles then pursued an MA in Education-Instructional Systems Design from the same university between 1995 and 1997. Later, in 1999 to 2000, they attended American University, where they earned an MS in Public Communications. Lastly, from 2011 to 2012, Charles completed a Master of Science (MS) in Military Strategic Studies, General at The United States Army War College.
