Mandy Govender

Mandy Govender is an experienced operations leader in digital health, currently serving as the Operations Lead at Transform Health since July 2021, where significant contributions include the establishment of six national coalitions to promote digital health policies aimed at Universal Health Coverage by 2030. Previous roles encompass positions such as Digital Health Thematic Consultant at the WHO Foundation, Engagement & Sustainability Lead at the International Digital Health & AI Research Collaborative (I-DAIR), and Senior Programme Manager at Jembi Health Systems. Mandy's extensive background also includes leadership roles in HealthEnabled, the Health Promotion Board in Singapore, and Dance4Life South Africa, focusing on health systems engagement and HIV prevention initiatives. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Public Health from the University of the Western Cape and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, among others.
