Marian Murunga

Marian Murunga is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Country Coordinator for TrustAfrica and a member of the Gender and Digital Health Advisory Group at Transform Health. With a strong focus on youth-centered and rights-based technology for universal health coverage (UHC), Marian co-authors policy recommendations and develops capacity-building initiatives through various roles, including Governance & Strategy Youth Focal Person for Young Experts: Tech 4 Health and member of the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights. Previous experience includes co-founding The Border Hub, serving as a Youth Focal Person for Africa CDC's Covid-19 Response, and working with Amref Health Africa and other organizations on health-related projects. Marian holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Information Management with a focus on Data Science from Kisii University and is further enhancing expertise through continuing education at Kansas State University.
