Alex Shanosky has a diverse work experience in the chemical technology and business development fields. Alex is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Transform Materials, a company that uses microwave plasma to convert natural gas into high purity acetylene and hydrogen. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Business Development at Transform Materials.
Before joining Transform Materials, Alex worked at Linde as an Account Manager, where they managed accounts for the company. Prior to Linde, they worked at Praxair, Inc. as a Business Development Manager, responsible for customer acquisition and growth in a designated territory. Alex also held positions as a Business Development Engineer, Plant Engineer, and participated in the Leadership and Technical Orientation Program (LTOP) at Praxair, Inc. In these roles, they provided technical support to customers, developed business strategies, and oversaw project implementation.
Alex Shanosky attended Vanderbilt University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In 2011, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at The University of Queensland in the field of Chemical Engineering. Later, from 2015 to 2017, Alex pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Texas McCombs School of Business.
