Sharon Samuel Ahmed is an experienced consultant currently serving in the Strategic and Programme Assistance Unit for the Deendayal Antodaya National Rural Livelihoods Mission under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Sharon has a strong background in project management and strategic support aimed at improving the livelihoods of rural women in India. Previous roles include positions as Senior Practitioner at Hand in Hand India, where Sharon oversaw projects across North India, and as Senior Manager at Vodafone Foundation, focusing on project outreach and compliance. Sharon's earlier experience encompasses roles as Technical Advisor at GIZ, Assistant Manager at Child Rights and You, and Project Executive at SRIJAN, among others. Sharon holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia.
