Matt Hughes

Matt Hughes is currently the Head of School at Mount Tamar School under Transforming Futures Trust, a position held since September 2024. In addition, Matt serves as a Council Member for the English Schools' Football Association starting from July 2022. Prior experience includes multiple roles as Headteacher at both Chapel Bridge School and Preston Bridge School, as well as Deputy Headteacher at Preston Bridge School, with tenure at Spaghetti Bridge Ltd from September 2021 to September 2024. Matt's educational credentials include a Master of Education from the University of Exeter and a National Award for SEN Coordination from Bath Spa University. Further qualifications include a National Professional Qualification for Headship from Best Practice Network and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Worcester, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in War, Peace and International Relations from the University of Reading.
