Dennis Day

Dennis Day is a seasoned emergency management professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on public safety and emergency operations. Currently serving as the Lead Specialist in Emergency Management for the City of Fort Collins since October 2022, Dennis previously managed the Emergency Operations Center for the rapidly growing City of Indio. Prior to that, Dennis worked as an Emergency Services Coordinator for the County of Riverside, where responsibilities included developing and assessing emergency operation and hazard mitigation plans. Dennis began their career in emergency services with CAL FIRE as a Senior Public Safety Communications Officer and served in the United States Army as a soldier in a logistics unit. Dennis is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global and has completed advanced training in emergency management through the California Specialized Training Institute and FEMA.
