Katell Bidet Huang

Katell Bidet Huang currently serves as the Head of Translational Medicine at Transgene since January 2025. Previously, Katell held multiple leadership roles at HOOKIPA Pharma Inc. from November 2020 to January 2025, including Director of Translational Research, Director of Virological Assay Development, and Senior Scientist in Virology. Prior to this, Katell was a Senior Scientist and Scientist in Biomarkers and Immunoanalysis at CureVac from March 2018 to October 2020. Katell's career began with a post-doctoral fellowship at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre from April 2014 to February 2018, following the completion of a PhD in Virology at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, where studies took place from August 2009 to May 2013. In addition, Katell obtained a post-graduate certificate in clinical trial management from NUS-Parexel in May 2017.
