Brad Hopwood

Brad Hopwood is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as General Manager - Customer Management at Transgrid since July 2019, where additional roles include Project Lead for the Waratah Super Battery and Project Director for the Central-West Orana REZ. Prior to this, Brad provided consultancy services to renewable energy investors, offering expertise in the acquisition and management of solar farms as well as project finance debt facilities. With a substantial background at Infigen Energy as Executive General Manager - Commercial and Corporate Finance, responsibilities included commercializing new wind and solar projects. Earlier career highlights include leadership roles at Babcock & Brown as Tax Director for Specialized Funds and serving as Tax Senior Manager at KPMG, where a focus on corporate tax advice and cross-border structuring was emphasized. Brad holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies from the University of Technology Sydney and a combined Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from Macquarie University.
