Senior Scientist at Transine Therapeutics

Becky Johnson has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. From 2022 to 2020, they were a Senior Scientist at Transine Therapeutics. From 2020 to 2018, they were a Scientist 2/Senior Scientist at Horizon Discovery, where they were a project lead and part of a team to conduct pooled CRISPR screens in a wide range of cell lines. From 2018 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, where they investigated the effect of the bacterial pathogen Salmonella on gene expression within host immune cells. In 2017, they were a Research Associate at Imperial College London. In 2013, they completed an MRes in Biomedical Research at Imperial College London, with a focus on Microbial Pathogenesis. Finally, they returned to Imperial College London in 2014 and completed a PhD in Life Sciences Research, with a focus on Microbial Pathogenesis, in 2017. Additionally, in November 2021, they obtained a certification in Project Management: Solving Common Project Problems from LinkedIn.
