Jayasri James

Jayasri James has extensive work experience in the field of discovery research and biology. Jayasri is currently serving as the SVP of Discovery Research at Transition Bio, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Exo Therapeutics as the VP of Discovery & Translational Biology, where they later assumed the role of Executive Director and Head of Biology. Jayasri also served as the Director and Head of Cell Biology at X-Chem, Inc. Additionally, Jayasri worked as an Associate Director of Discovery Biology at Constellation Pharmaceuticals, where they managed a team of scientists and led oncology drug discovery programs. Jayasri'searlier experience includes working as a Senior Scientist and Group Leader at Constellation Pharmaceuticals. Before that, they worked as a Staff Scientist and Research Investigator at TGen - Part of City of Hope.

Jayasri James began their education in 1994 at Delhi University. Jayasri pursued their studies there for three years, but it is unclear if they completed a degree or focused on a specific field of study. Following this, they enrolled at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1997, where they completed both their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biotechnology and Cancer Biology. This academic journey lasted for a total of six years, ending in 2003. Subsequently, Jayasri moved to Toronto, Canada, attending Princess Margaret Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow in the field of Oncology and Cancer Biology from 2003 to 2004. Finally, they joined UC Irvine, where they worked as a Post Doctoral Research scientist specializing in Cancer Biology from 2004 to 2008.
