Machine Learning Scientist at Transition Bio

Kristofer Linton-Reid has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Kristofer began their career as a Barista and Kitchen Porter for Waterloo Quay Properties, where they developed key skills in stock control, basic arithmetic, effective communication, training and mentoring junior staff, and supervising the facility. In 2014, they worked as a Directed Studies Research Project at The University of British Columbia, gathering, pre-processing, and analyzing long-term potentiation metadata. In 2015, they worked as a Data Specialist for Elsevier. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as an Auxiliary Nurse for the NHS, providing individual centred support to patients and relatives with medical, personal, emotional, and psychological difficulties. In 2018, they worked on an MRes Student Project at Imperial College London, working with the supervision of Dr Panagiotis Vorkas on the lipidomic profiling of a cardiovascular disease cohort. Kristofer also worked on an Honours Research Project at the University of Aberdeen, titled: The Enteric Nervous System: A Gutsy Perspective on Parkinson's Disease. In 2019, they worked as a Data Science Intern for Cambridge Cancer Genomics, working on a project involving the genomic sub-typing of pancreatic cancer. Kristofer also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London in 2020. Theircurrent role is as a Machine Learning Scientist for Transition Bio, Inc., which they began in 2021.
