Alane Shanks

Alane Shanks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education leadership, diversity equity and inclusion, and executive coaching. Serving as President and Senior Consultant at Renga Consulting since 2014, Alane specializes in supporting senior leaders and developing strategic initiatives for higher education institutions. Alane also provides career coaching and job-seeking strategies at Transition Solutions. Previous roles include Visiting Scholar at the New England Resource Center for Higher Education, Adjunct Professor at multiple universities, and Co-Founder of The ARC Group. Alane holds a Doctorate in Education from UMass Boston, a Master's in Management from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor's in English from UC Santa Barbara.
