Tom Balint

Tom Balint is the current VP of Operations at Transitiv, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the company's Director of Product from January 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they worked as a member of the Freight Solutions division, acting as a liaison and broker between customers and carriers in the logistics industry. Tom was responsible for maintaining and growing an individual book of business, generating revenue through negotiating rates, and nurturing client relationships. From May 2016 to December 2019, Tom served as Transitiv's Director of Operations. In this role, they again worked as a member of the Freight Solutions division, with similar responsibilities to their previous role. Prior to joining Transitiv, Tom spent just over a year at PureCars, first as a Performance Specialist from March 2015 to October 2015, and then as Performance Manager from October 2015 to May 2016.

Tom Balint graduated from Mount Lebanon High School and then went on to Penn State University where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

They are on a team with Joshua Schure - VP of Customer Success, Taylor Deering - Product Manager, and Matt German - Director of Growth. Tom Balint reports to Christian Pillat, CEO.
