Laura Rose Brylowski is an experienced educator and interpreter with a focus on language and cultural studies. Currently serving as an Assistant Instructor in Spanish at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2020, Brylowski has also worked as an Over the Phone Portuguese Interpreter for multiple organizations including Telelanguage and Stratus Video since March 2020. With a strong background in translation, Brylowski has translated academic articles in the fields of Medicine and Nursing for Zeppelini Editora Ltd. since September 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Spanish and Portuguese from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Ethnic and Race Relations from Cefet/RJ and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and Hispanic Studies from Oberlin College. Additionally, Brylowski has held various roles that contribute to community engagement and education, such as Library Associate at Austin Public Library and English Teaching Assistant for the Fulbright Association.
