Steve L.'s work experience begins in 2006 as a Student Assistant at the Bailey Library at Slippery Rock University. Steve then worked as an Inventory/Sales Specialist at Changing Hands Books from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they briefly worked as a Lenovo Public Sector - Sales Administrator at Direct Alliance Corp. Steve then worked as a GIS Intern at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission in 2009. From 2010 to 2016, they held various roles at MIG, Inc., including Project Associate and GIS Intern. In 2016, Steve became a Broker at Inhabit Real Estate until 2017. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Swift Agency in positions such as Data Strategist, Senior Data Strategist, and Associate Director of Data Science. In 2021, they joined Ayzenberg as an Associate Director of Insights and Analytics until 2022. Currently, Steve is working as a Data Strategy Director at Translation.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Marketing from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Steve attended this university from 2004 to 2007.

Prior to attending Slippery Rock, Steve attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2004, where they studied Information Technology.

After obtaining their undergraduate degree, Steve attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Master of Urban Spatial Analytics (MUSA) degree.

In addition to their formal education, Steve has obtained several certifications. In November 2013, they became a Certified Producer through Portland Community Media. Steve also completed various online courses on Coursera, including "Startup Engineering," "The Data Scientist's Toolbox," "R Programming," "From GPS and Google Maps to Spatial Computing," "Reproducible Research," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Statistical Inference," "Regression Models," and "Practical Machine Learning." Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Google Analytics from Google Partners in February 2016.
