Nathan Marsteller

Director of Research at Translational Pulmonary & Immunology Research Center

Nathan Marsteller has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific and veterinary fields. From 2004-2006, they were a Vet Tech Assistant at Newport Harbor Animal Hospital. From 2006-2009, they were a PhD Candidate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From 2009-2015, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2017, they became a Research Scientist and Laboratory Manager at the Translational Pulmonary and Immunology Research Center (TPIRC), where they focused on developing new diagnostic tools to define and understand novel immune biomarkers. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Research at TPIRC.

Nathan Marsteller earned their B.S. in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University-Fort Collins between 2006 and 2009. Nathan then went on to pursue a PhD in Biological Sciences with a focus in Molecular and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2009 to 2014.
