George Wang

George Wang has a strong background in technology and project management. George started their career in 2003 as a Desktop Support and Telecommunications Technician at Public Works and Government Services Canada. In 2004, they worked as an On-call Technician for Alma Mater Student Society at the University of British Columbia. From 2006 to 2009, they were a Technology Support Analyst at RBC Royal Bank. George then joined TELUS as a Technology Support Analyst II from 2009 to 2011, and later became a Network Technician from 2011 to 2013. George joined TransLink in 2013 as a Network Analyst/Project Technical Lead, where they successfully led and managed several high-profile projects. George is currently working at BCRTC as an Asset Integration Project Manager.

George Wang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, which they attended from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their degree, George also holds certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)², Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) from Cisco Systems, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco Systems. George also has certifications including Certified Infoblox Support Technician, Certified Solutions Associate for Riverbed Steelhead, and Microsoft Office 2003 Specialist (MOS) from Microsoft Corporation. The obtained years for some of the certifications are not mentioned.
