Rubina Mahal has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Rubina is currently serving as Director Talent Acquisition at TransLink starting from September 2023. Prior to this, Rubina worked at Providence Health Care where they held multiple positions including Director Strategic Recruitment and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Recruitment Lead, Recruitment Advisor, Recruitment Associate, and Human Resources Associate from 2008 to 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they also worked as Manager, Talent Recruitment and People Support Services at Providence Healthcare. Rubina's career began as a Communications Intern at the Ministry of Education, Province of Alberta BC from 2005 to 2007. Before that, they served as Women's Centre Coordinator at the University of Victoria from 2003 to 2005.
Rubina Mahal received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Victoria in the years 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Human Resources Management from Ashton College and a Certificate in Journalism from Langara College.
