Andrew Schacht has a diverse work experience. Andrew started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where they investigated metalloproteins and utilized various research tools. Andrew then worked as a Teaching Assistant for Genetics Lab at the same university. Andrew later joined Caltech as a Graduate Student in the lab of Prof. Linda Hsieh-Wilson, specializing in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics. During their time at Caltech, they also served as a Teaching Assistant and eventually became the Head Teaching Assistant. Presently, they are working as a Junior Quantitative Trader at TransMarket Group.

Andrew Schacht began their education at Stevens High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 2010 to 2014. Andrew then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2014 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Biological Sciences. Currently, Andrew is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Caltech in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, which began in 2018 and is expected to conclude in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained several certifications, including the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) from FINRA in September 2022, and various Coursera certifications such as Mathematics for Machine Learning, Global Financial Markets and Instruments, and Corporate Finance Essentials, obtained between 2020 and 2022.
