Chris Plott

Chris Plott has extensive experience in the medical device industry. Chris is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Disposable Product Development at TransMedics, Inc. Their role began in December 2023. Prior to this, Chris worked at MC3 Cardiopulmonary as the Vice President of Research and Development from June 2020 to December 2023. Before that, they held the position of Product Development Program Manager at the same company from May 2014 to June 2020. Chris started their career at Medtronic in 2004, where they held various roles including Program Manager, Project Lead and Principal Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, and Project and Mechanical Design Engineer. Their tenure at Medtronic spanned from June 2004 to May 2014.

Chris Plott earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2003. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2003.
