Xiang Zhuang has over 15 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control roles. Xiang began their career at Life Technologies as a Quality Assurance Engineer in 2005 and later became a Staff Engineer in QA/QC. In 2011, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Site Quality Lead, where they managed the quality assurance and quality control departments for three product lines. During their time at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Xiang led compliance efforts and implemented quality systems that met medical device requirements. In 2019, they joined TransMedics, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Quality, where they are responsible for the company's quality operation, compliance, and improvement.
Xiang Zhuang's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Wuhan University and a Master's degree in Molecular Microbiology from the University at Buffalo.
