Joaquin Ortega Andrade

Joaquin Ortega Andrade has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Joaquin began their career in 1997 as the IT Manager for Medilab de Occidente, SA de CV in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. In 1999, they became a SOFTTEK IT Contractor for GE Corporate and a Ddemesis IT Contractor for GE Capital. In 2006, they became an IT Contractor for GroupEx Financial Corporation and a SOFTTEK IT Contractor for Coinstar Money Transfer. In 2011, they became a Senior Business Analyst for TransNetwork LLC, a Project Manager for Softtek, and a PMP for GE Capital. In their roles, they have been responsible for managing the support, maintenance and improvement for their overall money transfer system, keeping applications up and running, designing and conducting cost saving projects, and managing diverse teams to deliver into production a new consumer financial tool.

Joaquin Ortega Andrade obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Secretaría de Educación Pública between 1984 and 2013. Joaquin also attended the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac between 1996 and 1999, studying Computer Sciences. In 2011, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications certification from Microsoft.
