Callum Tonkin

Callum Tonkin is an experienced Electronic Technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, control systems, and project management across various sectors. Currently employed by Transocean since September 2025, Callum previously held roles at Petrofac and Synergy, where responsibilities included preventative maintenance, operation of complex electrical systems, and electrical isolating authority for high-voltage systems. With significant experience in configuring control systems, managing multimillion-dollar projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, Callum has demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing production processes. Callum holds a Graduate Associate membership with the Institute of Engineers Australia and has continued education through Tech Skills Australia.
